i-Orchestra is an iOS application that allows users to simulate orchestral instruments on their mobile devices. By receiving MIDI messages via the on-screen MIDI keyboard or an external MIDI keyboard connected to the iOS device using the Apple Camera Connection Kit, the app brings to life sampled musical instrument sounds. Users can view their selected musical score in PDF format on the screen of their iOS device, enabling them to scroll through and play the score simultaneously. This feature facilitates collaborative creation of a virtual orchestra, where each participant can individually contribute by simulating different orchestral parts through the app.
